McConnell Library presents the Winesett Awards for Library Research
The Winesett Awards for Library Research recognize creative and original library research completed by Radford University undergraduate students. Two $500 prizes, one for juniors and seniors and one for freshmen and sophomores, will be given to the students whose papers or projects best illustrate exemplary use of McConnell Library tools and resources and development of information-gathering skills.
In addition, this year we will publish the finalists' and winners' essays and papers or projects in our online journal, Archives of the Winesett Scholars.
The deadline for the 2007-2008 academic year is Friday, April 18, 2008. The winners will be announced at the Library Research Award Reception on Friday, April 25, 2008.
