What services are offered to persons with disabilities?
McConnell Library offers the following services to individuals with disabilities: Reading Edge Kurzweil Readers, which convert print into voice for individuals who are visually impaired or have learning disabilities. One machine is available for checkout. Print text enlargers, VIEW workstation (Visually Impaired Educational Workstation), including screen reading software screen magnification, Braille printer scanner, and Kurzweil text-to-voice software. Wheelchair-accessible photocopiers are located on Levels 2 & 3. Patrons who need assistance with this equipment may contact the Front Desk on Level 3 in person or by using the intercom phone located near the elevator on Level 4. (View for more detail.).
