    1. Two letters dated 1943 wherein a Mr. Holyfield and Mr. Hutton attempted to obtain employment with V.I.C.C. as surveyors.

  3. Folder labeled forms of coal leases.

    1. Copy of blank lease form dated ___) ____,1929.

    2. Copy of blank lease form dated ____) ____,196__. forwarded to V.I.C.C. by Woods, Rogers, Muse and Walker Law offices in a letter dated August 8,1961.

  5. Folder labeled sale of VA Stone and Construction Corp. to Tufano Contracting Corp.

    1. Copies of financial earning statements etc. for VA Stone and Construction Corp. (owned by V.I.C.C.) between 1957-1962. In 1961 V.I.C.C. sold the VA Stone to a Mr. Louis Tufano. In 1962 Tufano entered troubled financial times and from 1962-1967 V.I.C.C. was in litigations to avoid responsibility for Tufano/VA Atone debts. Very detailed background. Letters, internal memos etc. pertaining to the legal problems with VA Stone are in this file.

    1. Contains a great deal of background material on a claim made by VA Stone against the state highway dept. in 1960 concerning a highway construction project in Fauquier co. VA.

    1. Contains business information I.E cost estimates for materials and equipment used in Fauqier Co. construction job between 1958 and 1960. Included in this folder are booklets on equipment performance, rental rates and costs on equipment performance. A copy of the 1954 VA Dept. of highways Road and Bridge specifications is also included.
