M'Ledge Moffett
| In 1906, the Moffetts moved to Manassas, Virginia where M'Ledge was a
student and Mary served as supervising principal, supervisor of District schools, and
teacher of the High School Normal Training classes. M'Ledge moved on to the State Normal
School in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Mary ended her career in Herndon in 1916 before
retiring to live with her daughter in Radford in 1916. M'Ledge is the third woman from the left in the second row and Mary Stoops Moffett is seated in the center of the front row. |
