Blanche Daniel

Director, McGuffey Training School

Blanche Daniel was almost unique among Radford administrators in that she graduated from Radford with a Bachelor of Science degree.  Daniel served as an Associate Professor in the Education Department and as the Director of the McGuffey Training School from 1930 until the school closed in 1962.  The school, considered part of Radford's public school system, was used as a practical laboratory to supervise student teachers from kindergarten to 6th grade levels.

Blanche Daniels spent her last years at Radford as the Assistant Dean of Women.
