Books not available locally or from McConnell
Library
If you are unable to find the book you need locally or at McConnell
Library, you may be able to get it through Interlibrary
Loan . Interlibrary loan is a free service in which we get the
books (or magazine or journal articles) you need from another library
and send them to you. If you're not sure exactly what book or
books you need, one of the best sources for identifying books from
libraries worldwide is WorldCat from FirstSearch.
You do not need to identify a library that owns the book you want.
Library staff will do that for you. However, the information you
provide about the book should be as complete as possible.
Interlibrary loan services are available to you as follows:
- Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital: Request your interlibrary
loan from the staff at CRMH Health Sciences Library, and return
the material to the Health Sciences Library before the due date.
There is no charge to Radford University students.
- Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center: Submit your
interlibrary loan request to McConnell Library, using the Interlibrary
Loan system. Return the book
in the package provided.
- Virginia Western Community College: Submit your interlibrary
loan request to McConnell Library, using the Interlibrary
Loan system. Return the book
in the package provided.
